Undergraduate Scholarships at UQ
Domestic Students
1. UQ
Academic Scholarships Program
This program comprises
three main scholarships:
- Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship
- Value: $12,000 per year for up to 5 years (total up to $60,000)

Australian citizens, permanent residents, or New
Zealand citizens completing Year 12 with an ATAR of 99.90 or equivalent.
- UQ Excellence Scholarship
- Value: $6,000 per year for up to 4 years (total up to $24,000)

- UQ Merit Scholarship

2. UQ Link Scholarship
- Value:
$3,000 per year, plus entry rank adjustments
- Eligibility:
Australian citizens, permanent residents, or New
Zealand citizens who have experienced financial hardship and are
commencing undergraduate studies.
3. TC Beirne School of Law Leadership, Excellence and Diversity
(LEAD) Scholarship
- Value:
$8,000 per year
- Eligibility:
Students from disadvantaged backgrounds intending to
study Law at UQ, demonstrating academic excellence and leadership
potential.
