University of Leeds

The University of Leeds is a public research university in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It was established in 1874 as the Yorkshire College of Science. The university has 36,250 students, the fifth largest university in the UK (out of 169). From 2006 to present, the university has consistently been ranked within the top 5 in the United Kingdom for the number of applications received.  The Leeds School of Medicine is one of the largest medical schools in Europe, with over 250 medical students being trained in each of the clinical years and over 1,000 teaching, research, technical and administrative staff. Leeds was ranked joint 19th (along with the University of St Andrews) among st multi-faculty institutions in the UK for the quality (GPA) of its research[63] and 10th for its Research Power in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework.

Subject specific grades: 75-90%

Typical entry requirements: 60-85% overall average, with 75-90% in two relevant subjects

English language minimum requirement: Standard XII English is accepted at 70-75% depending on state board, IELTS 6.0 overall, GCSE C/4 or an equivalent qualification is required: Acceptable Language Qualifications.

Postgraduate

Postgraduate qualification required for entry: Bachelor

1st: 4 punts

2.1: 3 punts

2.2: 2 punts

English language minimum requirement: IELTS 6.5 overall, GCSE C or an equivalent qualification is required: Acceptable Language Qualifications.
