signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tongmyong University.
- Additional Notes:
- A recommendation letter from the principal professor
of the department is required.
- Applicants may need to complete an additional Korean
Language Course.

separated joint program class students.

Applicants must have finished, or be in the process of completing, secondary education equivalent to South Korea’s high school curriculum. - Language Requirements
For English-Taught Programs:
Candidates must meet one of the following minimum scores: - TOEFL: PBT 530, CBT 197, or iBT 71
- IELTS: 5.5
- TEPS: 600 or higher
Note: Scores must remain valid through the beginning of the academic term.
For
Korean-Taught Programs:
- A minimum of TOPIK Level 3 is required.
- Students below this level must take Korean language
classes before graduation, consisting of:
- 2 hours daily (5 days a week), totaling 10 hours weekly
- Spanning 20 weeks per
semester
- Cost: KRW 1,200,000 per semester
- Students without TOPIK Level 3 are not eligible
to transfer into the 4th year.
- Citizenship Requirement
Both the applicant and their parents must be non-Korean nationals. Dual nationality involving Korea is not allowed. - Transfer Students
Transfer into the 4th year is permitted only for students who have completed a 3-year associate degree in the same academic field from a recognized Korean or foreign college.
