Albukhary Undergraduate Scholarships
This is a competitive scholarship based on academic merit and financial need and it has been made possible thanks to a generous donation from the Albukhary Foundation, a charity based in Malaysia with a focus on facilitating access to world-class education.
The scholarship provides £20,000 of funding spread over three years of continuous study. The scholarship will be renewed for each year of your course providing you satisfactorily progress through to the next year of study.
Chevening Scholarships
Chevening Scholarships are the UK Government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The scholarships support study at UK universities – mostly one-year Master's degrees – for individuals with demonstrable potential to become future leaders, decision makers and opinion formers.
Chevening and the University of Warwick have a long history of collaboration.
Commonwealth Scholarships
The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission is responsible for managing the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan. A range of scholarships are available to study in the UK, at either undergraduate, Master's or PhD study.
GREAT Britain Scholarship
This year, in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, The University of Warwick is offering one GREAT Britain Scholarship - India, to the value of £20,000 for any master’s taught programme in the School of Engineering.
The GREAT Britain Campaign is the UK government’s initiative to promote the UK internationally as a GREAT place to visit, study and do business. The British Council is a partner in the campaign to raise awareness and promote UK’s strengths in education, English language and the arts.
OFID Scholarship Program
The tuition fees, including any supplementary examination fees, as may be required by the academic institution, will be paid by OFID directly to the academic institution. Health insurance will be paid in accordance with the institution’s own standard medical scheme.
A monthly allowance to cover living expenses, books and accommodation, will be transferred to the student’s own personal bank account on a quarterly basis.
OFID’s Scholarship Program sponsors outstanding young students from developing countries through graduate studies in a development-related discipline.
Pearson Research Funding
- Faculty members or qualified freelance researchers. Pearson will provide test data and a maximum of £10,000.
- Doctoral students who are preparing for their Ph.D. thesis in relevant research areas. Pearson will provide test data and a maximum of £2,000.
- Master’s students who are preparing for their M.A./M.Ed./M.Sc. thesis in relevant research areas. Pearson will provide test data and a maximum of £1,000.

Eligibility criteria
The University of Warwick is a very popular destination for Indian applicants choosing to study overseas. We welcome applications for our Foundation, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research courses.
English Language
If English is not your first language, you will be required to provide evidence of an English language qualification to demonstrate your ability. This could be an IELTS or TOEFL examination, for example.
Warwick International Foundation Programme (IFP)
For applicants who would like to apply for our IFP, we would require you to achieve the Higher Secondary Certificate/Standard XII, with a minimum final grade of 75%.

- University is providing guaranteed first year accommodation to all new full-time first-year undergraduates
- The university has 13 Halls of Residence: Arthur Vick, Bluebell, Claycroft, Heronbank, Jack Martin etc.
