University of Exeter

The University of Exeter is a public university that focuses on research. It was established in the year 1955. In 1851, it was first formed as Schools of Science and Art. In 1900, its name was then changed to the Royal Albert Memorial College which later converted into a university college of the southwest in the year 1922. And finally, it received its authorization in 1955 as the University of Exeter. The university is a part of the Russell Group which contains the top research-intensive universities of United Kingdom and has a total of 3 campuses. Out of all 3, Streatham is the largest campus by area as it contains most of the university's executive buildings. Also, it is considered as one of the most beautiful buildings in the nation. Moreover, the Penryn campus is associated with Falmouth University as per a combined initiative. The University has more than 25,263 student population who are coming from over 130 different nations.

The content below lists English language requirements for our programmes if you have completed an IELTS (Academic & Indicator), TOEFL IBT or Pearson Test of English.

Programmes starting between September and December 2020 - Tests completed from 21st March 2018 will be accepted to take into account difficulties for those trying to meet these requirements.

Programmes starting from January up to July 2021 - These tests are valid for 2 years and 6 months prior to the start of the programme.

Accommodation


Undergraduate students have a choice of catered or self-catered accommodation. There is a broad range of options: twin rooms, single studio bedrooms with bathroom and kitchen attached, and more. Postgraduate, Study Abroad and Erasmus students can only apply for self-catered accommodation.Students who would like to rent private, rather than University-run, accommodation can use the Accommodation Office's online database of privately rented accommodation.
